St. Patrick's Day Party: Game Ideas + Decorating Must Haves

It's just about time to whip out treats, drinks and games. St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner and we are sharing some of our decorating tips, favorite games and more! Whether it be an office, friend or family party, these are our tips when it comes to creating a fun holiday environment!

Party Supplies:

We love event decorating. It's fun to display things in a festive way during the holidays and St. Patty's Day is no different.

Event Invites: We are a sucker for a cute card and invite. If you are having a friend and family event, you can make your own fun (green) card or we recommend these cute festive blank cards from Paper Source as well as these. Make sure you tell your guests to wear green!

Decorations: Green + more green (with some orange, white and gold). Buy some sprite bottles (in addition to your drink selection for display purposes), use green food dye in some of your baked goods and add some fun signage + table decorations throughout the event space. PS. Photo booths are always a fun idea!

Games:

Drinking too much at an office event is never a good thing, but a big part of this holiday is eating and drinking so why not do it in a tasteful (understated) way with some lighthearted games! We also recommend this for friend and family events with big groups!

What to buy: 16-24 total local or international beers (2 of each brand)

Setup: Buy small cups and pour a small amount of beer into each. Make sure you keep the cups together by brand and place each group under a number 1-12. Each number is associated with the beer brand type (the person setting up the game should know the brand associated with each number).

Have your colleagues sip from the sampling cups and guess the beer brand. We recommend creating a printed document with the beer brand names (A-L) and number (1-12) so they can easily fill in and participate. Whichever colleague gets the most beer brands right wins a gift card of your choosing (we recommend a brewery gift card since the winner is probably a beer wizard).

Have a great time celebrating and as always be safe!
