Favorite Winter Outerwear

With winter weather upon us, we are whipping out our down jackets, boots and layering pieces. It may not be snowy and cold here in San Diego but it's always good to be prepared for a winter trip along with the cool winter weather.  We here at SAVVY are preparing and wanted to share a few of our favorite winter brands. Time to clean out the old clothing and stock up on some of our favorite winter pieces + brands. 

Our winter essentials: Down jacket, boots, layering pieces and snow clothing.

Down Jacket: Our favorite sustainable brand and down jacket comes from Patagonia. The Down Sweater Jacket is lightweight, easy to pack, windproof and made with 100% recycled polyester ripstop shell. Looking good, doing good and feeling warm. Nothing better.

Boots: Keeping feet warm is essential in the cold - looking good while wearing comfy boots is an added bonus. Our favorite Sorel Joan of Arctic Boots  are equal parts versatile, stylish and warm. 

Layering Pieces: Wearing comfortable pants that hold up from slope and street wear is key. We recommend pants from Madewell (our favorite comfortable + durable jeans). We love the Skinny High-rise pants for everyday winter wear.  We pair these jeans with a basic long sleeve top that you can get from H&M or one of our favorite sporty FERA sweaters.

Ski + Snow Clothing: Keeping dry + warm on the slopes is key to a fun day on the mountain. We love FERA's new winter outerwear that serves both slope and street style. They also carry the best ski pants that are offer a slimming stretch fit.
